"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10

Our Church Distinctives

We are a congregation committed to the ancient faith — worshipping God as He has prescribed, ordered by His Word, and shaped by the Baptist missionary tradition.

Confessional

We are a confessional church, meaning we hold ourselves accountable to a historic summary of what the Bible teaches. We subscribe to the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689) as our doctrinal standard, and we also affirm the BMAA Doctrinal Statement in its expression of the Baptist missionary tradition.

Regulative Principle of Worship

We believe that the acceptable way of worshipping the true God is instituted by Him, and limited by His own revealed will. God may not be worshipped according to the imagination of men, nor any way not prescribed in Holy Scripture. This conviction shapes every element of our Lord's Day gatherings.

Family Integrated

We believe God has designed the family to be the primary context for faith and discipleship. Rather than separating generations, we worship together as whole households — fathers, mothers, and children side by side — believing that intergenerational worship reflects the fullness of the body of Christ.

What We Believe

We are a church of the Book. Every doctrine we hold, every practice we observe, and every conviction we cherish is derived from the Holy Scriptures alone — the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

Second London Baptist Confession (1689)

As our primary confessional standard, we subscribe to the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689). This historic document provides a comprehensive and carefully worded summary of what we believe the Bible teaches on all matters of Christian doctrine — from the nature of Scripture and the triune God, to salvation, the church, and the last things.

BMAA Doctrinal Statement

We also affirm the Doctrinal Statement of the Baptist Missionary Association of America (BMAA) as a faithful expression of the Baptist missionary tradition we share. The BMAA statement reflects the historic convictions of regular missionary Baptist churches — holding tenaciously to the doctrines of the New Testament and the associational principles of cooperation and fellowship.

A Church Planted
in the Heart of Ruston

Ruston Baptist Mission is a congregation of sinners saved by grace, gathering week by week around the Word of God, the sacraments, and prayer — the ordinary means by which Christ builds His church.

We are a young and growing church in Ruston, Louisiana, committed to proclaiming the whole counsel of God to our city and community. We welcome all who are seeking a church where the Bible is faithfully taught and the Lord Jesus Christ is exalted in every gathering.

Whether you have grown up in the Reformed tradition or have never heard of it, you are welcome to join us as we seek together to know Christ and make Him known.

What We Do

We gather each Lord's Day for corporate worship, preach through books of the Bible, celebrate the Lord's Supper, baptize believers, and care for one another as a covenant community.

Our Community

We are a diverse body of families, students, and individuals united not by background or culture, but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and love for His Word and His people.

Find Your Faith

If you are searching for God, wrestling with questions of faith, or simply curious about what we believe, we would love to meet you. Come as you are — you are welcome here.
